Building Confidence through the program for real change.
The Logan’s Little Warriors program achieved a major milestone by hosting its first-ever, three-day Overnight Kids Camp, which was designed to build confidence, deep connections, and life skills. Throughout the weekend, children unplugged from their screens to immerse themselves in teamwork and self-discovery. Campers engaged in structured growth activities, including the B.A.N.K. Personality Challenge to learn about different communication styles, daily “Warrior Way” affirmations to reinforce self-worth, and an evening reflection activity focused on replacing negative thoughts with positive ones.
Adventure and community building were at the heart of the camp experience. The children participated in outdoor and educational activities such as hiking to waterfalls, journaling, completing obstacle courses, building STEM rocket blasters, and experiencing a unique equine connection. The weekend concluded with friendship bracelet crafting, a Warrior Recognition Awards ceremony, and a final group photo. Supported heavily by a dedicated network of volunteers, mentors, and families, the event successfully transformed a group of individual campers into a unified community of confident, resilient young leaders.
Sanai woke up for her last day of school this morning and said “ I did what camp told me to do. I started my day by exercising and doing the breathing”
It shows that the lessons from camp didn’t end when the weekend ended. The goal of the Warrior Way is to help children develop healthy habits and confidence they can carry into everyday life. Sanai choosing to practice those habits on her own is evidence that the experience made a real impact. The Warrior Way isn’t just something campers practiced during the weekend. It’s something they took home with them. Seeing a child choose to start her day with movement and mindful breathing shows that the lessons of confidence, self-care, and resilience became part of her daily routine. Moments like this remind us that the greatest success isn’t what happens at camp. It’s what children continue to do long after they return home.
